Adina Leipzig
Leipzig Germany
Adina Leipzig, housed in a former 1960s mid-century government building in a city closely associatedwith the arts - pays homage to its origins, interpreting them in a thoroughly contemporary and sensitive way. Offering serviced boutique apartments, Adina Leipzig caters to both the leisure and business market.
The mural in the dining area, made up of vibrant orange and blue geometric forms contrasts with the austerity of the brutalist architecture. This is echoed in guest apartments, through colour blocking in artwork, throws and cushions. Screens of sculptural brass within the studio and one-bedroom apartments separate the spaces.
Overall, the hotel celebrates the industrial and artistic attributes of the city as well as the mid-century aesthetic of the building itself. With its level of comfort and sense of welcome, it reiterates Leipzig’s standing as one of Germany’s most liveable cities.
